Guys, I'm confused....AMD or Intel???

I'm trying to get a new PC, and I wanna get a good one. But I have absolutely no idea which processor to buy. AMD dual core or Intel Dual Core?

I really want to create a media centre with my PC. I will also use it as TV. I will occassionally play games.

Is AMDX2 better than Pentium Dual Core?

If you ask me, I'll tell you the X2 series

Pretty much every X2 beat Intel in a battle of the CPU's recently on one of Cnet's reviews

They are cheaper ...and faster.
