hacking security books / classes

I am thinking about going into the field for anti-hacking and security type stuff. Does anyone know of any good books to study for that stuff and any good classes?
 
I'd say go to school for computer networking/security.
Good certifications to get would be CompTIA Network+ and Security+. Learn some programming languages like C or PERL or something similiar.

As for books I don't know what to recommend, I'd say just go to your local book store and find something on networking or security.
