When people use a sniffer to get into your wireless broadband is it possible for people to see what your doing on your computer without having remote control software??

Sounds like he's more worried about his own security rather than infiltrating others... and every basically every Windows computer has remote access software... but I don't know if it's really a security issue.

I want to know beacuse I saw a video where somebody parked outside someones house, used a sniffer to get onto their broadband, and he could see everything that house was doing on their internet.

they would have to break through your security first

Well first off, yes it's very easy for someone to get on your wireless network. Now you're a bit vague when you say "can they see what i'm doing?". They can't actually see your screen, but they are able to see the webpages you go to, your chats, and basically anything else you do on the internet or network.

If you are not using any wireless encription, or your just using WEP then you are vunrable.

It is possible to get wireless sniffers which will pick up unencripted information flying through the air. this includes email addresses, website pages etc... I have tried this in my car and its suprising what you can pick up :o

Using WEP is a little better, but this can easily be cracked. im using WEP as i havent bothered changing it, bit i have managed to crack it in seconds to get my own key.
