halo 1

i have halo one on my windows vista home premium computer and everything works well on it except the sound. any idea why? (and no its not muted)

Does your sound work fine for other games and/or music?

This may sound dumb, but the sound works on everthing else right?

If it's not that try reinstalling your sound card (if you have one) or the driver if it's integrated.

Halo PC on vista.....Hmmm...

I have had it since it came out, play it almost everyday. Reinstall halo. That will probably fix the problem. It fixes almost all problems with the game.

Did you enable hardware acceleration in the game?

Agreed... I would guess the problem would be caused from a faulty install.

You don't; you reinstall the driver. (device manager if you didn't know).

yea i already tried that, but some of my vista cpu gadgets also recently stoped working around the same time this happened. could they be related?
