Halo 2 Vista?

Anybody have Halo 2 Vista or play it often. I may buy it but I want to know how the online stacks up to the Xbox version. Are there a lot of people online? Is it worth buying?
 
Mix and match, really. I do better with the Controller, since I am a huge Console player, but I find both easy, since I am also a big PC gamer.




Personal preference, really.


If you get the wireless controller, you may also need the Wireless Receiver, thats what I did. The USB Cord one, should just plug right in.
 
Yea I've heard that you get the typical Halo 2 auto-aim with the controller, but not with mouse and keyboard. It guess that's an even trade off though considering mouse and keyboard is generally more accurate.

Yeah, I like it. Havnt played it in a long time. But now that windows Live is free, I might play some more :D.

BTW, the included map editor, is just like the CE version. Its not an actual editor, just a list of programs to help you compile a map. I dont think Ive seen a single custom map made from it though, from being so confusing. Worse then cod4's.

I also heard that a bunch of losers found a way to plug in a controller, get autoaim, but still use the keyboard and mouse for better accuracy. So heads up :(.
 
I've heard of people programming hot keys on their keyboards in order to pull of a double shot with the touch of one key. For example press 'G' once will be equivlient to RRX YY RRX (in Xbox terms).
 
Just bought it today, and there's really not many servers going on. Does anybody know if this can be used with Xfire?
 
XFire may show the game next to your name when your playing it, but I am not sure.



I was on a few weeks ago, and there were a lot of servers up.
