Halo glitches...

I have Halo for the PC, and i read about a glitch where if you get in the warthog (jeep thing), and go right next to a rock, get in the passenger side, then jump out you'll be in the rock. Well i tried this, and i got in the rock, but then about half a second later i was on top of the rock, can anyone who knows this glitch tell me exactly how to do it, and if it matters what rock you do it to. Thanks!
 
lol, i forgot to mension that this is a glitch in the Blood Gulch map, by going in the rock you can be a sniper and shoot other guys, and they cant see u or shoot u. (except with plasma and grenades).
 
thanks, i'll try that when i play halo again, anyone else can post halo glitches here if they want, i wouldnt mind knowing some more :D
 
does anyone really know how to do that trick with the rock? i can do it with a pistol rusty!
 
Get in a Warthog. Drive to the pointy rock near the middle the map. Back up into it. The bumper should crash into it. Get into the gunner's seat and jump out. If done correctly, you should be inside the rock. You snipe people from inside. Bullets cannot effect you, but plasma weapons, explosives, and flamethrowers can. I think this only works on the demo of halo BTW.
 
I just did it in the demo...It works. It's the pointy rock on the far left (or right) side right in the middle. The warthogs are a little hard to back up though, but as long as your bumper is touching it, just back up, get in the gunner's seat, point your back to the rock, and get out. It might take a few tries, but it's pretty cool.
 
I read that it works in the demo, wasnt sure if it worked in the full game or not. Thanks for the tips guys.
 
There's another place in BG that you could try sniping on noobs at least... There should be a place near the tunnel where there's kind of a ridge that goes up the face of the rock... You can get on that ridge and then follow it all the way up off of the map on top of the cliff face! Then just use your sniper, whatever and pick off your unsuspecting prey. Only works for a little while though, they figure out where you are pretty quick :( That's just when you need to rocket them ;)
 
Guys you are doing it all wrong you have to Get in rocket worthog. go to death island and get up near banshes look for big rock find the flat side. get in gunner seat and then back up into rock. then press e. THX BYE

i dont know about that one,.. but you can drive with a ghost out of the level blood culch, (so, up the cliff, at a certain point) and start sniping from the air... toone can see you there either ^^
