Halo PC disk not being recognized

For the past hour I've been trying to reinstall Halo Pc on my computer but for some reason the disk drive is not reading the disk. I went to My Computer to see if any new icons came up that refered to the Halo disk but nothing is new appeared.

Can anyone help a fellow gamer out?

if the disc drive itself is not showing in my computer then go here:

click fix it now, download the program, run it, restart, drive should now show

I have already Unistalled, restarted my computer, and reinstalled but to no success. I also tried the Device Manager option but its a nogo. I don't know what else to do.

so you downloaded and ran that program and did as it said?

If the drive is still not showing check the connections inside the computer.

If it was reading discs before and isn't now then run a virus scan and if it comes up with nothing then chances are the drive may have died on you. If that is the case you are looking at a very cheap and easy fix, but try what I have just posted first and see what happens
