i am not sure if this is the right place to post this

i have a DMZ network coming off my firewall and need for people to be able to connect to it i dont want to open ports but i want to use hamachi. I understand that hamachi has security holes but if someones does hack my server on the DMZ will they be able to do anything to my ohter pc's on a seperate network

thanks

Well that depends very heavily on how (and how WELL) your firewall is configured. If it is an isolated DMZ network properly monitored and controlled (ACLs, firewall rules, etc..) then it shouldn't be a problem. If you have, say, a home router where one device/server is set as the DMZ and then that node is broken into, theres a good chance they could make their way into the rest of the network.

In short, there isnt enough info here for anybody to actually answer your question. Make sure your network and firewall are hardened and you should be okay.
