Went to PC world to look for a handheld, I am pretty set on getting one but the guy there told me that he thought they were hard to write on and took a long time to get it to say what you want. I'm just here to ask if anyone who owns a handheld thinks this is true or is it just getting used to it ?
Thanks for any help,
Oscar
Hello Oscar-
A PDA is great for mobility contacts, using it as a cell phone other than using it for Word, Excel, e-mail, browsing the internet, etc.
PDA's does require a little training, but if you are self-taught to a point of using a computer - then using a PDA handheld is not that difficult. It may seem to intimidate you at first, but not to worry.
You can use a PDA for music, video's, etc. Surfing the internet which is handy compared to having a notebook to use. Although, I would love to have that... could do some real stuff on a notebook compared to a PDA.
However, if you lived in Southern California - I'm doing a Microsoft Event, (which I just finished registering for...) on Windows Mobility. Which involved PDA's cell phones, and smart phones. The event is a half day event which educates people about mobility.
In a few days this event will be listed on Microsoft's event page, and anyone in the general area can attend by registering.
Write me back if are you interested?
