There may be a few of you who would be interested in this.
A veteran in game develop is start a series about coding a game from complete scratch. Not even using DX or OpenGL. He'll be streaming week nights and archiving the streams on Youtube. And it won't be just some Pong clone, but a fully fleshed out game. There will be Q&A sessions afterwards to ask questions about the code and whatnot. He's already done a few preliminary streams over the weekend (available on Youtube) and they have been fun so far. The actual series starts tonight (11/17/2014) at 8PM PST.
