Hard disk and windows speed

My PC is up to date but my harddisk is six years old. It is WD Sata!
I did add another one a couple of years back.

My question is if replacing my old hard disks with new ones will improve computer speed and boot time?

P.S. I am not considering SSDs.

Depending on the model of the one your using for the os, replacing it won't get you much or anything in the way of speed. What model is it?

Cleaning it up or a fresh os install could help. What os is it?

What are your pc specs and what do you consider it slow at? Other than boot time.

Boot up, yes, it helps, but over all peed won't be a whole lot different

If it's a 5400 or 5900 RPM drive then yes, going to a 7200 RPM will make a bit of difference. It won't be the difference between night and day though.
