Most of the Seagate 7200.12 drives we have been getting over the past year or two are here because they suffered a fatal head crash. So, I'd consider this a good warning to make sure your data is backed up, at the very least. But, it would be wise to replace the drive, as the message suggested.
so if i cant by one now, will it be unwise to keep using this one?
could it cause any damagae? or could it just die in me and then ill just get a new one?
ok thanks, but now i have a new problem... i formatted the hard disk that my windows was on (its not the one with the error), and after i reinstalled windows, i cant see the drive in "computer", i opened disk managment, and there it shows that the HDD exists in the computer, and that its healthy, but i cant find it in "computer", what can i do about it? Thanks!
Thanks! i just had to assign a letter to the drive
And to a new problem... i reinstalled google chrome after the format, and now, every time i go to the settings section it just crashes.. does anyone have any idea why it happens?
