1. Take the hdd out and put it in the other comp

2. Network them

3. Use an IDE->USB converter if you don't want to open the other one up

i want to put a new hd in the existing comp not take the original hd and put it into a new pc.
how do i transfer all or clone the original hd to a new hd

Just go into my computer and drag and drop all the stuff. It will take a while, but it will work

drag and drop

I think that will be the most efficient if you are wanting to just move like music files and such........

Believe it or not it is possible to [cleanly] do a drag and drop ... but that only works with identically configured source and destination systems :P
