I have had my computer for about a month and a half. Just a slight Querie, It seems for every faceook picture I view it seems to write to the hard drive, is this normal? is it Caching the Pictures? it seems when I view them again to comment etc, it still seems to be writing..... Its a brand new machine and I really hope there isnt a problem, thanks in advance for any help
 
It only takes the computer less than a second to copy the picture to your temp files. You shouldn't be seeing your hard drive led stay on continuously while viewing a picture from facebook.
 
its not continuously but for around a second, between each photo. Facebook has Recently changed its photo Viewing Platform so im not sure if that could be the cause, but generally, nothing else seems to be a problem although My computer has thrown the
Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device Error at me once (The reason I got my last machine which was the same) Replaced for the same one. Unsure if thats a significant problem as I have used Seagate Seatools to ensure the disk is good and all tests Passed.
 
Ok, I just checked by viewing a couple photos on facebook and hdd activity light flickers and thats it.
