Hard drive back up

I have a 160GB hard drive that I would like to back up on a 250GB SATA HD using Windows Live One Care, is that the best way to go, or is there another program that is better (that is free). Also on windows Live One Care, it wont let me select the 250GB SATA HD to back up my files on... any help on how to format the HD to show up?? Thanks.

No, basically I'm looking for a free software that can backup my files to an extra HD I have... one that can automatically do it for me.

can you just drag and drop? thats what i do.

yeah, but then everytime I install something or change a file, etc. I would have to drag and drop... is there a program where everytime I change, install, delete, etc. a file it will automatically adjust my HD accordingly?

I'd recommend you to try Paragon Drive Backup (www.drive-backup.com). I use their commercial version, but I've seen a free special edition at their blog: http://paragon-software.blogspot.com/2007/01/paragon-drive-backup-85-release.html
So if you don't need Vista support you can use this free copy.
