Hard Drive malfunction?

My hard drive (120GB) has been making these clicking noises, two in a row, and the first click freezes the computer, and the second, restores it. It gets really annoying at times, and I don't know whats wrong with it - just now I had to reconnect all the hard drives after a boot record error, it works fine but with that clicking noise still... Does anyone know what it is?

Your hard drive is dying. I would recommend backing up all your data onto another device(portable usb, cd, HDD, etc.)

If a hard drive stops working the way it should, it usually means it is dying.

Thanks, I guess my HD has been going for quite a while, so I've just got a new one - 200GB SATA, 8MB cache, 7200rpm for 50 quid, pretty sweet!
