I've looked through the forums for an answer, but I have a specific problem, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a compaq mini 110 (netbook) and the hard drive was starting to go bad, so I ordered a new one. With no optical drive, I loaded xp onto a bootable usb so I could re-install my operating system. When It loads the startup files and asks me where to install the operating system, it doesn't display the hard drive, only my flash drive. I've checked the bios and no luck. I think I may have to format the hd first, but i have no cables to connect it to my desktop. Any suggestions?
