Hi, I have a problem with my laptop hard drive. I have a laptop running XP with a 40gb hard drive. It has 2 partitions, 10gb (FAT32) and 30gb(NTFS). The operating system is in the 10gb partition and I am running out of space in it. I have plenty of space on the 30gb partition. When I install programs, I install them on the 30gb partition to save space but I am going to have to do something quickly. I have less than 500mb left. So the question is, how can I shift some space from one partition to the other without wiping the whole drive and reinstalling the OS. I can back up the 30gb pretty easily if I need to. Any ideas?
oh, yeah. before you ask. I used FAT32 and NTFS because the XP install cd would not install on a NTFS partition for some odd reason. I tried many, times.
