Hard drive problem

Hello,
I have Segate Barracuda 7200 hard drive...
When I turn on my computer,
it stucks in the BIOS screen.
When I take out the hard drive and turn on the computer
the BIOS goes smooth until it gets to a message saying
it cannot boot.
I must say the hard drive worked just fine a couple of days ago.
what could be the problem?
Thanks anyway.
 
have you checked the cables? have you tried another hardrive?

I know they might be stupid questions but i'd love to help because Ive been helped on here many times
