Hi, my hard drive i full now, and I want to buy a new one. but i need all the stuff from my old. but I don`t want to copy all the files to the new one.

So... my question is, is it any way to make my old hard drive into a External Hard drive with a USB cable into my computer, that i can access only if i need the stuff there.
or is it any other way to do this? please help me.
Money ain`t a worry. Thanks..

and, whats the fastet and "best" hard drive on the market?

Samsung SpinPoint T166 320GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM, is the one i got now

Not at all, in many ways, it can speed up computers by putting the paging file and programmes etc on a separate hard disk other than the Windows drive.

Its a Serial ATA 3GB/s connector on the motherboard

A Serial ATA Cable to go from the motherboard to the Hard disk drive

And one of these on your power supply unit

If your power supply does not have an extra SATA connector pictured above, you can purchase one of these adapters for about $4.99

Hope this helps you :)

Edit, I try resizing the images using the forum tools, but it wont let me resize, it goes back to the default size. So ill edit the post in about 5 minutes, with smaller pictures :)
