depends on how many games you want to install on it. 320gb should be plenty just for games.
If you save screen captures from games in folders you can surprise how much space that will take up. Presently I run two 250gb WD ide drives for other then gaming reasons(video captures, storing utilities, updates, etc.) like dual booting a Linux distribution at times. That takes room.
With several games installed on the host drive I suspect that an 80-120gb drive would be adequate. If you plan on storing a large number of game saves and other things then you would consider a larger model. Those are ide drives there. If the 320gb is intended for storage only you will have plenty of room.
