Hard Drive Vanashed?

I bought a 2nd hard drive about a month back, I stored some stuff on in nothing important. Anyway, I realized that it is gone today. It doesn't show in the BIOS or under Disk Management.

I had a power outage while on my computer if that helps.

Any suggestions or is my hard drive broken?

Hook the hard drive up to a different computer and if it works then something is wrong you your system. If it doesn't work, the drive is dead.
