hey i was wondering how much a 160GB would take up my watting usage,dont have time for detals, ill post them later

Depends on the drive, varies on the drive type. Anywhere from a low of 4W to as high as 15W at idle. Under load from 15W to 25W. Little more or less.
Hard drives don't use a ton of power.

yes but im on a 300w psu and i have an ati radeon 4670 at 49w and a cpu at 50w max. i just dont wanna burn out my psu if i put in another HDD

HDDs consume close to nothing. If you want to make sure that your PSU is still going strong, then you should check your voltages in your BIOS.

problem... idk how to get into BIOS D: i mean i do, but idk if it'll show me that, its a factory mobo.
