I am building a new PC and wanted to know a good recommendation for a hard drive that will last a long time and that is not to high in cost.

Any hard drive can go out at anytime. However, Seagate, Westerndigital and Samsung are the best brands to get. What size drive are you looking for and where are you located at?

Which model of Seagate? I would not touch the 11th generation hard disk drives. They had some serious issues. I have a 10th generation Seagate hard disk drive. It runs well but my Samsung Spinpoint F4 hard drive is faster.
