Harddrive Problem

Well I've bought this 500 gb hard drive a while back mayble half a year already. I formatted it, and put the jumpers hopefully in the write place. And installed service pack 2 to stop the barrier. Well i wanted to reformat my old 80 gb hard drive [c:] and when i pushed "f" to format i notice it was formatting the 500gb one out of no where. maybe i messed up on the wire or jumpers. Then i don't know why, i shut down the computer and turned it back on. The 500gb hardrive was un accessible. I let it go cause i couldn't reformat it. Then i put away in a box. I"m trying to find it right now to give you details. Is there anyway i can restore this harddrive.

Install the hard drive in a PC, and you should be able to format it. If the disc does not show up under My Computer, it can be found in the control panel, under administrative tools, then computer management, then disk management...where you can select to format it.

I found the hard drive, ima try that right now, i know what you mean, i think I've already done it. But i hoping this will work!
