Hardware transfer between laptops

I have a compaq presario 1215us where the screen doesn't work. I also have a sony fxa63 where the motherboard is shot. Is it possible to take everything out of the sony and replace it with what's in the compaq?

I seriously doubt it. Laptops are very propriatary and most everything is made specificlly for their case. Now, it might be possible to trasfer the monitor somehow as I have seen some thing were you could convert LCDs for normal PC use, so they might have a common set of wires...
