Hardware virtualization

I am trying to install the mac osx on a virtual machine on my windows 7 machine. i keep getting this message that hardware virtualization is not enabled. i checked for updates and i dont have any that needs to be installed. can someone help me work around this issue

Hardware virtualization means support by your CPU and enabled in your BIOS.

I believe it is under you cpu settings? I might be wrong.
