Has anyone tried out the new HD 4870 1 Gb cards yet?

I assume it would be better for the high resolutions 1920 X 1200 and higher.I also wonder how it compares to the HD 4870 X2?

* edit .Wow the vista numbers look great, it even performed better than the 280 did on crysis which is its favored game.For $300 it is definitely a good price to performance for those of us that want to run at high res.
