Have a budget of £700 what could I build?

I'm sure there'll be plenty of lists coming your way, so don't make a choice quite yet.

Here's my list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/N8ynMp

The processor is the hot item right now for gaming. The motherboard is higher quality then some of the other and is up to date. The RAM is the same as mine, and although it had a failure from factory, it works wonderfully. Standard 1TB harddrive, which you can always add an SSD for faster startup. The case is very nice. Fractal does a nice job with this case will be able to house all of your components. I added the MSI Twin Frozr 280X for the graphics card as it's pleasing to the eye and matches this mini color-scheme. astly the power supply, 600 watts may be "too much" for some people but if you plan to upgrade graphics cards or plan to overclock, the 600w Corsair will be a good buffer.

All in all, this is a well rounded build, and can be modified to suit your needs. As far as cases go, the Corsair 200R deserves a mention for accommodating the 280X nicely (mine is 306mm long).

The above list is good, although the R5 is out, and any case by a good company like NZXT, Corsair, Bifenix should be good.

If you can afford it, a GTX 970 for the graphics card would be better for gaming
