my computer was working fine yesterday then i tried overclocking my cpu in my bios. it was at a default of 133 and i put it up to 200. then it restarted itself and now my comp turns on but there is nothing on the screen and the motherboard dont beep like it usually does wen it starts up. I really need sum help

Jumping from 133 right to 200 isn't good. Your supposed to slowly increase the voltage and see if it's stable. I'm not an overclocker, so I don't know how to fix it.

Take out the CMOS battery. If it works again, then you didn't fry it. Don't touch the voltages AT ALL...

ok i took out the battery and it powered on fine it just said something about the cmos and wouldnt load windows which i figured it wouldnt n e way without the battery . so does that mean i just need to buy a new battery?

thx everybody for the help i got my comp working again i just took a cmos battery out of another comp i had around and its workin fine

If it was leaking... or it looked other than silver, than dump it and get a new one. Their like $2 at WalMart anyways.
