Have a question about the 8800 GTX OC2

 I was wondering if I flip the bill for a new BFG 8800GTX OC2, is that card going to overheat within my computer chassis if I don't have a liquid cooler or something or should I just go with a regular GTX since that should be fast enough for the price? I just can't rationalize the price jump for a GTX Ultra when the OC2 is almost as fast and $230+ less expensive. The shader clock on the OC2 is actually faster than the Ultra. Please guys lemme know what you think. Will the OC2 heat my chassis to 500 degrees or no? Is the fan going to be so loud it'll sound like a jet taking off?

The OC2 isnt going to get that much hotter then a stock card, and no, you dont need liquid cooling. Just make sure you have decent case fans.
