Hello

Recently I find that when I try to execute a file (for example, a video or a music) with WMP, it could sometimes take 10-15 seconds waiting time before the video appears or the song starts to play.

I don't know if I have connected too many hard drives??

my config
- intel i5 2400
- asus basic board
- 4gbx2 ram
- no display card
- 400w antec psu
- Seagate 1T x 1 ; 2T x 2 and WD 4T x 1 . Totally 4 internal hard drive connected

Do you have your hard drives to power off in a certain time period within your power profile in Windows? They probably spun down and then you had to wait for them to spin back up when accessing a file.

There isn't really anything as far as 'installing too many hard drives', as long as you have the available power and interfaces to your PC it can support whatever you have.

so is my power supply sufficient for the 4 hard drives stated above ?? since the PC was built by my own and I am not very experienced
