Have Sabayo live boot dvd not working...

I burned the newest sabayon linux live boot on a dvd+rw for my friends laptop who's OS got completely destroyed. When I put it in his dvd drive it goes beep beep beep beep it keeps going keep and makes a disk reading noise(when the disk is in the drive) I go to click boot from cd and it does nothing... It is really annoying... So I tried it on my laptop and it worked fine! Live boot I even set the boot to detect dvd drive first on his pc... soooo I tried the same thing on an extra dell laptop I had laying around and the same thing happens! Beep noises and it acts like it's trying to read the disk and it won't boot... I can't even see it from xp it just freezes when I try to look at he disks contents?? I have no idea why it would be doing this...
 
I'm gonna try it right now... I think my cd is 1 mb too small GRR!!!! Link to the best linux for a user who just wants basic features?? Also laptop wifi.
 
What's a good live cd version of linux for laptops? Name one so I can try it cause I lost my sabayon which worked perfectly for me. Ubunto gives me too many errors, I just want to be able to pop it in any laptop without a whole bunch of configuring bullshit, it's a live cd after all...
