Have you ever got scammed on ebay?

I just have this weekend, got a cellphone and its totally scratched and seems like his dog chewed on some parts of it, maybe he did, so I dunno, i filed a complaint to ebay and paypal, hopefully I get my money back, what a scam artist, the pics of his ebay dosnt even look like the condition he sent me... what about you guys? how long did it take to resolve? or did it even get resolved? did you get the full payment back? or just some of it?
 
I bought a £600 value camcorder for £200 second hand, when it arrived it worked fine except the Firewire connection to the pc wouldn't work. I took it into a Sony Repair Agent who said it had to be sent off to France for repair, at a cost of £250 to myself. The vendor denied any knowledge of the problem and refused to refund.
 
I've had some bad experiances on ebay but no scams yet... You wouldn't beleive, though, how many scams I got when I was trying to sell my laptop! I got at least 20 messges of people with corps stations in Africa and asking if I could ship it there, they'd give me $5000, I just deduct the value of the lappy, send it, etc etc... I'm sure we all have heard of these scams.

I ended up finding someone who lived about an hour from me. He came, saw the laptop, then paid in cash. The internet's nice, but you can't beat that...

Now, I do have 2 things on the way from ebay...I'm a bit sceptical about one. It's a USB to Serial converter that is suppose to work with the GPS I'm getting...we'll see.
