Having a Hard time - Internet

hey,

Since yesterday I experienced some problems with my connection.
It says that its connected, but when I try to access some site, it says im offline.

I'm connected on a router.
I can share files with computers in the network.
The internet on computers on port 1 to 4 works fine.

I tried switching port, nothing.
I tried changing net cable, nothing
I tried reinstalling my network card, nothing

Note that I do the automatic IP and DNS server allocation

Help please

make sure that IE , file drop down menu that work offline is not checked.

firefox&mozilla&msn&everyting does not connect

when I exec ipconfig/all

theres nothing beside gateway

the auto-allocation does not seem to work....

and when I try to force it, it doesnt work

I scanned it for virus and trojan, everything is clear

arf....my comp is cursed

it could be the router. unplugged the router and let it rest for like 5 mins then plugg it back in, or do one of those router restarts.
i get the same problems as you and thats all i do and it works fine after.
if all else fails, call your cable company. They should fix the problem

Well its not the routher either.
Because if I plug my comp in the modem directly it doesnt work
I called the cable company, and they told me they can do nothing. They say that they have signal in the modem.
