Having problems with my browsers

I have IE9, Chrome and Firefox on my system. Each time I'm browsing the internet...after being successful viewing websites, it will begin having a hard time accessing a website and once I open up command prompt and type in the command "ipconfig /flushdns" everything is solved..it's becoming a headache each time, what do you think the problem is and what can I do to solve it. Thanks in advanced.

Reset your modem and router first by unplugging them and wait a minute then plug them back in then if that don't help scan your system for malware using malwarebytes.

Thanks, but managed it--have tried various linux distros in past but never managed to get past connecting to the net.

Fantstic!!

You should set up a static IP or already have one set up so resetting your modem should not help you any. The only thing that does is refresh your IP. That honestly can be a hard thing to figure out. Go ahead and try to wipe-out all your spyware and spybots + any malware as claptonman suggested
