When I start my computer with the restore cd in it, the computer ignores it and just starts normally.
The computer is an emachines T4510.
When the cd is in the DVD rom drive, it just sits at the first screen for about 30 seconds, then starts normally. When it is in the CD Rewritable drive, there is no delay, and it just starts normally. However, it did work one time in the cd rewritable drive, but I turned off the computer before the restore started.
I have made sure the boot priority is the cd rom.
I would appreciate anyone's help.
