Hi, I am new and I dont know alot, so I need a little help.
I setup a computer without the internet, and want to transfer files from my computer on the internet to my computer off the internet. Not hard I know, but I have encountered a problem, I am trying to put music files on my other computer and every time I burn them on a disk it automatically makes the READ-ONLY... I will need to edit these files and I cannot when they are in this format.
The files are not read-only before I write them to a disk, only after.
Any suggestions? :confused:

When you copy it to a cd it become read only. After you copy it back to your harddrive it each to change the settings again. right click on the file go to properties. go to general tab and unclick the box that says read-only.
