having trouble aiming wih controller

i have a logitech rumble pad 2 and i have installed the software, but i cant seem to get the right config to make playing the game easier,

so far i cannot stay alive for 4 seconds,

i wanna use it for GRAW, but i want to be able to play it, i was thinking of having the mouse and controller as a keyboard, but i thought it would be crap that way.

any help --chris--
 
What exactly is the problem? Too sensitive, not sensitive enough, long delay, buttons not working? I'm sure some of these problems are fixable but if not, it's worth baring in mind that playing with a keyboard and mouse can be just as intuitive and fun. In fact, I vastly prefer using a mouse to aim for shooters like GRAW. Nowadays, i've got so used to using a mouse in games like CS:S and BF2142 that I would never dream of using a gamepad. Give it a try, it might not be all that 'crap'.
