Hi. I have a computer with two 500 gb hard drives one western digital and one seagate. I want to run them as one they both run on sata so i know that i cant set them as master and slave so what would the equal be in sata????
Make sure your motherboard supports Raid. What operating system are you trying to use? Have you setup raid in the bios? You will need the raid drivers at the beginning of the windows setup before the install can actually see the drives.
No need to deal with motherboard bios, raid drivers. An enclosure like this can make it work. Simple enough. Make sure the 2 drives have no data before setting up the raid on the enclosure.
