please also add some other good motherboards if u think this one is crap
TY:)

Are you in Australia? I am just asking because of the website address that you were looking at.

Anyways, I think this is a better motherboard.

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce SPP 100 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

Both will, but the X1600 pro is much better. You really dont to spend that much money on a motherboard if your getting a graphic card like that. I sugest you get an ASUS A8R-MVP instead.

Its in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS!

If you zip over to www.xe.com/ucc and convert it into US dollars, its $233.

Now log onto newegg. Its $169 US for the mobo.

Australia are unlucky, its expensive for computer parts there
(Same in the UK)

That is true, Australia is expensive for computer parts. I wonder if the UK is the same. If in the UK the computer parts are expensive, all someone has to do is make an American friend at a military base in the UK. The military friend can get stuff from Newegg sent to their APO address. Anyone from the UK want this explained in detail, PM me. I know what I am talking about. I lived in the UK for 4 years. :D

Asus

Can I suggest not using DFI as the warranty isn't as long as you would get for an ASUS. I think DFI is only one year and ASUS would be three year. If you are the kind of person that changes your motherboard every year it wouldn't matter but just some food for thought.
:)

A search on www.staticice.com.au reveals that it can be found for $30 cheaper, but yeah, components are much more expensive here in Australia. My experience has been that DFI boards are overpriced here in Australia. The Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe ($225US), for example, can be found for cheaper than this board (it's $290AUD from www.msy.com.au).

I'd first consider whether you need a board this expensive. Since you only intend to use an X1300 or X1600 graphics, i'd say it's completely unncessary. The Asus A8N-E, for example, is only $140. If you want a Radeon Xpress based chipset, the Asus A8R-MVP can be found for $170 (best price from www.statitice.com.au). You'd be better off putting the extra money into something else, such as the video card.

Why don't you post your budget, intended system specs, and what the system will be used for so we can make more valuable recommendations.
