I am setting up a new computer with a Radion HD 5770.
(AMD 1090t proccesor, Asus M4A89GTD pro MB, 4gb ddr3, windows 7 ultimate)
The monitor is a benq v2410 led, with a vga and hdmi out.
They sent an adapter with the monitor so that the vga can be pluged into a dvi port.
When I use the hdmi to the HD 5770 hdmi the video is great but when I use the monitors vga with the dvi adapter in the HD 5770 I t a kind of shimmering/flickering thing happening across the monitor. I observe this only when playing games and not with other computer activities.
I could just go with hdmi but I dont want to settle for a problem card as the computer is brand new.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Any insight would be appreciated thanks.
