One of my friends bought a notebook from HP. I don't know the model off hand, but is has all the goodies, including a HD DVD player. She has had ALL kinds of problems with this notebook though, and has even sent it back for a new one. The replaced notebook is having problems as well.
The HD DVD drive will not play HD DVD's. I know there is a difference between Blu Ray, and HD DVD's. This is not the problem. It just freezes. I thought to download a .net framework, but don't think this will help.
In my opinion, this is not a problem the notebook should have. I need help, I am very good with pc's but don't know what to advise in this situation, as she has already sent it back once.
Any advice is good, thanks for your help.
