HD Video Playbak in ATI vs NVIDIA

I have three ATI Display cards..I played full hd videos using them but the videos lags very worst...I tried Nvidia display card the video plays smoothly..I have used the latest driver from ATI and Nvidia..I used K Lite Media Player and Windows Media Player 11....Only ATI cards cant play the full hd video smoothly...In Nvidia, the video can play smoothly..I think ATI cards will work perfectly with AMD Processor not Intel processors.....What you think about this?
 
Ok here the list of graphic cards:
1. Sapphire HD 6670
2. Sapphire HD 4650
3. Sapphire HD 5670
4. MSI GTX 550 Ti
6. Leadtek GT220
