ThatGuy16 VIP Member Mar 30, 2008 #2 you mean 3870X2? no the board does not need to be crossfire supported. All you need is a single PCIe x16 slot and a power supply to run it. And PCIe 2.0 works on PCIe 1.0. No difference really..
