HDD gone?

After successive random freezes, my windows 8 now refuses to start. Takes ages to reach startup screen when it stops responding. I changed the hard disk priority and booted my old windows 7(Glad that was still there). I ran Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows and the extended test failed. It said " too many bad sectors". Now, am able to access the files but still cant boot into windows 8. Any way to repair my HDD. It's a WD 160GB SATA HDD.

Any ideas?

No, the drive is bad, replace it.

Backed up data at the right time. Think it's time to get an SSD.

It doesnt necessarily mean your drive is bad
