Hdd help!!

Hi i just built my first computer installed windows and everthing is working fine. I have windows on an SSD. I also have a 1TB HDD installed into my computer. My problem is that the HDD doesnt show up when i am in windows and bring up computer. I want to put program son it but i dont know my its not showing up. Everything is plugged in correctly aswell. Someone please help me. Also when in BIOS I set to RAID. Is that messing it up?
 
Are you saying the drive doesn't show up in Computer Management or it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer?

You first need to go into Computer Management and partition and initialize the drive before it will show up in Windows Explorer.
 
Use disk management to right click on the unallocated part of the drive and click on format.
 
Right click on computer(either desktop icon or in start menu), click on manage. When the page loads, click on disk management on left. Find the drive with unallocated space and right click, click on format.
