Well, sort of.
Ill explain
The PC originally had (still has) a WD4000AAJS HDD installed. I added a second HDD, a WD7500AAKS. Went into BIOS, made sure the original was set to boot 1st in boot priority & proceeded to boot.
the OS (Vista home premium 32-bit) loads perfectly, but when I went to format the drive (under Computer/My computer) its not there
However, if I go look for it via Control Panel>Hardware & Sound>Device Manager. The new HDD is listed under Disk drives. I cant however format it to NTFS through this.
So, what now? I cant use this thing if its in FAT32 format.
Im hoping this may just be some newbish error on my part. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. If any other info is needed to help get to the bottom of this, ask away.
Thx.
