HDD On its way out ?

My 3.5 inch IDE HDD is clicking a lot "/ and ive had the blue screen now too. It also vibrates in my hand when i hold it. Whats going wrong with it?

like you said, it's on it's way out. The vibrating is normal up to a certain amount.

btw, THE bluescreen? It also shows you an error code. google that.

this was no normal vibration. was like near enough moving out of my house xD

backup your important data first then. Google blue screen error code and if i were you get a new disk.

Luckily theres nothing on it atm. Just the OS. phewwwwww

Any news from the error code? Could tell you if it is the HDD going out or possibly something else too.

One time I had a hard drive that worked one day, then the next I tried to boot it, and it just kept making a clicking noise, and it never booted into Windows again Luckily I installed Windows on my Western Digital hard drive instead! Anyways, I now associate clicking with hard drive death.
