HDD Sharing question

Hello all . . .

I need your help asap ! ! !

I have build a home network with only two computers by using cross over cable. The connection is up and from the "Right PC" i can she the shared disks of the "Left PC". Now in my right pc i have make the HDD "D:\" shared.

From the "Left Pc" I'm double clicking on "Right PC" name in MsHome group and then popup a dialog and asking me for user name and password ? ? ?

How can i stop this ? ? ?

I like to share the D:\ from the Right pc to the Left PC

just put in administrator as username and passwords blank.
have you enable "simple file sharing" or are you using advance security ?

You can't disable it, SMB requires authentication, it is a part of windows file sharing. For more info see this:
